Sonic 4 Release Date: October 7, iPhone Gets It First! - TheAPPera.com Posted: 29 Sep 2010 05:38 PM PDT There is ONE gaming platform consoles and portable gaming handsets HATE the most… it's the iPhone and iOS Platform. With this news, I'm sure they are even more seething with hate. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I is releasing October 7 on the iTunes App Store! Though both Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 are available on the App Store right now, these are only run through an emulator. The said emulator has gone under fire from the iPhone community. With the build I was showed during E3 2010, everyone should have nothing to say since this was build from the ground up. IGN broke the news yesterday that the iPhone will get it first on October 7. The Wii Shop Channel on Oct. 11 (15th Oct in EMEA territories), the PlayStation Network on Oct. 12 in America (Oct 13th in EMEA territories), and Xbox Live Arcade on Oct. 13 across all territories. Why The App Store First? Possibly because we're the only platform where the ESRB has no say on game ratings… plus I know SEGA really loves the iPhone that much. Ok, I made that up. I can NOT wait to see the final product of this game. Though episodic in content, it will be great to see just how fantastic it will be!   from your own site.
