| Dreamcast Emulator Brings Crazy Taxi To Android (Video) - GizmoCrunch Posted: 15 Dec 2010 06:55 AM PST Wednesday, 15 December 2010 22:54 Valeria Wilson A couple hours ago we reported on an upcoming treat for Android phone owners as nullDC, a Dreamcast emulator, was shown running BIOS test. Dreamcast emulator for Android Today, it seems that the folks behind the software have progressed leaps and bounds as it has now been shown playing Dreamcast titles like Crazy Taxi, DOA2, Shenmue and Power Stone on an Android. While it is obvious its being played with an external controller (see video below), at the rate the team is progressing we wouldn't be surprised if touchscreen controls will be operational in the next video. This isn't the first emulator running on Android phones however as Nintendo classic games have been available for a while now and so has Playstation (PSX4Droid). Check out the video below for the emulator in action, the frame rate is a little slow but they seem to be getting there. No minimum requirements mentioned yet but we're sure 1Ghz Androids like the HTC Evo 4G, Nexus One, Droid X and the Galaxy S line shouldn't have any problems.
