Although the application currently has not been released, I did a little checking to see what might be on the horizon. Over at ZodTTD.com I found some rather exciting news.  Zod and his partner Yong, who brought us the GameBoid and Nesoid products, are stating they should have a release in the next couple weeks.

….psx4droid, a Sony Playstation emulator for high-end Android devices. It runs pretty nicely on the Nexus One, and looks great with the virtual keypad. Other touches are being added by my partner Yong, who does the GameBoid and Nesoid products on Android Marketplace.

It is being marketed for the higher end device's such as the N1 which makes sense since the mid-range and lower end devices sport a smaller processor. I was unable to locate any video or pictures of the software running. I can only peak your interest in the project.  With many channels, tweets and main page stating a few weeks I don't doubt it. Keep an eye out on the market and of course here and I'll be sure to get you the news when it hits.
