Any body with half a brain can download a version of MAME with a GUI and use a HQx4 effect on the game while they play it.  Not only will it be arcade perfect and look exceptional on modern displays, but the best part is it will be free.  Oh and for those people who really like the cabinet art visible while they play, just add the appropriate bezel to your artwork files and boom! there you go.  You have suceesfully avoided paying Fony or Microsux anymore of your hard earned money...

or you can just download the game from them and save yourself the trouble, MAME is kind of a tricky bastard at times.

PS everone saying the graphics have not been improved need glasses.  While they havent been redrawn as in the case of SSF2T, they have been upscaled which would lead me to think that running this game without the artwork and fitting it on a modern widescreen might be done through stretching, which sux.  I know the current emulator I use to play any arcade games will display any games in native resouloution (4:3) with black vertical bars on both sides of the games screen, and will also display it in widescreen with black horizontal bars on the top and bottom.  In widescreen any large sprites become "squashed" looking and do not retain the same look or values.  The only way to over come this is to enable stretching in the games native resoloution which in turn makes the screen a pixelated mess.  Which at that point scalers and shaders become handy to smooth things out a bit and make it pretty again but can also make it just as bad looking in the blurriness department.

I dont know why I posted this, I guess it just drives me batshit crazy when big game companies use these little shithead emu programmers ideas to combat the piracy going on but then they deliver us this kind of shit and they thnk people are going to just eat it up.
